    I am currently cooking and

    ...baking me and my dog's Thanksgiving dinner for today...even though it is 3:30 AM PST.

    It will be just me and my dog but I am preparing the whole spread of goodies.

    Turkey
    Corn
    Green Beans with ham hocks
    Dressing
    Turkey Gravy
    Mashed potatoes
    Candied yams
    Cranberry
    Fruit salad
    Pumpkin pie
    Cherry pie
    Rolls

          Well...I am not sorry. I could have spent Thanksgiving with PF's children...but I did not want to make the trip and I do not mind being alone and usually prefer it.

                                              Well...I finished all of the cooking within the hour. The turkey took forever. I think the thermostat on my oven must not be all that accurate.

                                                              Not exactly from scratch...the kind you have to allow to rise...before baking. About the left overs...I will keep enough for two or three days...and will see if the Senior Citizen org may want the rest for senior's lunch.

                                                              My dog ate so much he can barely move...probably not good for him...and he may end up puking...but what the hell...once a year dinner should not kill him.

                                                                      It's times like this I miss my dog most. He lived for 18 wonderful years, and believe you me I stuffed him full several times a year, thanksgiving being one of them.
