actually, I should add, since I don't usually read politicians and didn't read the article, I didn't know that he "admitted lying".
what where his lies, specifically? that might actually be of some interest.
people who study liquid fuels said all along that corn ethanol had too low an EROI to be worth doing except as an emergency fuel, so when I saw snippets of gore saying corn ethanol was a mistake, my reaction was "well duh - at an EROI of 1-to-1 to 1.85-to-1, of course it was a mistake".
so, be specific, and provide source quotes - what were his lies please?
I'd support prosecuting him if he lied for personal benefit, exactly as I support prosecuting other politicians who did or do the same.
