Building new site....
I am in the process of building my own porn site with our own content shot for it. Question is how do I make the site membership only and what programs do I need to protect the content from being copied and pasted from the site......also I understand the membership would be mysql database stuff but what kind of package can I get so that its easy to put together with the site....I have seriously been thinking about joomla but I can not figure out the way to make the registration in conjunction with those that have to pay to view the content.

Pick up a few books on PHP and Mysql...
PHP is server side scripts and MYsql is the data base... They go hand and hand...
Get yourself a lamp or wamp server, Google it ^^, setup or just pay a few dollars per month to a hosting company... try out your scripts or if your not a geek then just buy scripts or hire someone who is a geek and focus on your content...
Ask around here at GFY and you should be able to set up a merchant account...

I think the easiest is to protect your members area with .htaccess (google for it). Then you can sign up on CCBill. They do the credit card processing, handle the user access to your site with a PHP script they provide for your server, customer supper...
To start, you don't need anything more.

CCBill is a good start and then when you can hire a programmer you can eventually move onto some software that offers a paysite suite like NATS. Good luck on your site though, all the best!
