I kid you not, living down at the beach in SD, you run across some characters. I just deleted a huge post I was going to write about how I think parents suck these days, how people shouldn't be able to freely procreate (well, I still think that a lot) and kids are growing up horribly.
I deleted that shit, because it's probably what one of my parents would have said when they were raising me: I wasn't the worst teenager / new adult to have as an offspring, but I wasn't the best either.
The heart of this thread is: What do you think of the younger generation acting, as how you see it, "retarded"? Personally, I think it's pretty fucking dumb. Then again, I did some pretty stupid shit as a kid / young adult / early 20 something. Then I hit a point where I realized I should act differently: better to my being and my future -- some people get that realization at different times of their lives, and others never do.
