Correct.
Its funny what you can do or not get done to you, when you know your civil rights.
We had a big party on a Sunday at my buddy Cravens house. His house is all gated up and the back gate was open just enough to let people in and out.
10 cops showed up and asked for the house owner to step outside the property line. We were all really drunk. I advised Craven that he has rights and i further advised him if he stepped off of the property that he can be arrested for public intoxication. I further told him in front of the cops that they are allowed to lie and will do so to achieve whatever agenda they had today. Trust in the advice i give you and we will be fine.
Craven and i are very close friends and trust was never an issue. But it can be very intimidating when the police make threats, demands and false claims. Which are all part of the game.
I told the cops that you can say what ever it is you need to say from there and we can answer from here.
Then they asked if they can come in. I told Craven to say "no." Then they claimed that they found someone that left the party with drugs and that they can go get a warrant to search the premises then we could all be arrested for what ever any of these people had. But if we let them in everything would be OK. (keep in mind, i think xxxjay was there too).lol
Craven looked at me and i shook my head and said go ahead and get your warrant. And good luck to you not pissing a judge off on a holiday weekend. I knew it wasn't going to happen because there was no probable cause and if there was, they would have already entered the premises.
Then they tried to get Craven to step off of the property again and i recommended that he step up to the property line and not to step over. I was getting a serious laugh at these 2 arrogant prick cops attitude when we would tell them "NO" while i was sipping my beer.
The cops then told me to shut up multiple times while they try to talk to my drunk house owner friend. I told them that "I will not shut up and nobody will be stepping over the property line anytime soon."
This went on and off for 3 hours. They kept asking for the house owner to come talk and kept asking for permission. I was there for every instance.
Cops then said that they were going to wait outside and find things to arrest people for as they leave the party. I said, "you guys have fun doing that". And i asked "How does it feel that none of your lies and bullshit will not work today?"
It was 3pm and the cops wanted to break up the party for no reason what so ever. Noise complaints dont kick in until 10pm
Nobody was leaving and we were having a blast and the cops could not do shit to stop it besides wait outside. I let 2 hours past then i pretended to be the house owner and called the watch commander on duty and filed a formal complaint. I also detailed what the cops said they were going to do to my exiting party guests.
Not even 10 min. past and the cops left. I made sure to wave to them as they were leaving.
I made sure that everyone who did leave was sober or had a sober ride. Nobody got arrested and nobody even got pulled over. We finished at 3am. Im guessing the cops that came to the party, their shift ended and the complaint that was started and the next day finished had something to do with it.
Im all for the police doing their job, but not at the expense of my civil rights. And these guys were trying to throw there authority around at the wrong party.
Knowing and understanding your Civil rights is a serious must!!
