Most likely you are right. They take these well established story lines and chop the shit out of them to make a movie. A movie that generally or majory stinks. You think someone would get a clue and not try to compress 15 years of comic book story line into one two hour crap fest.

I would love to see a series of movies that all followed the same story line, and gave it some time to develop, and reach a decent conclusion instead of the shake and bake stuff we get these days. Anyone remember the days of Roy Rogers when they cranked out dozens of movies around the same character? A little old time revival is needed I think.

Which Marvel comic book adaptations are you speaking of in particular? Hopefully not the "Spider-Man" movies because those are as good as comic book adaptations get.

I've never been an iron Man fan, but recently read all 100-something issues of the Civil War storyline and they made him a more interesting character.

On that note I would LOVE to see a Civil War movie, but since it wouldn't be long enough to do it justice I think I'd prefer a mini-series on TV (like 4 parts 2 hours each). That would give it 8 hours at least. Though it probably wouldn't be profitable then when you consider how many characters they need to have in it heh.

You are kidding right? How do you justify killing off Goblin in one movie? That is the cardinal sin of these movies. Batman killed off the Penguin in one movie, Spidey did away with Doc. Octopus and Goblin in one apiece.

Now he is going to have to deal with Venom (as I believe the evil black spider suit is named), Hobgoblin and from what I have caught of the trailers, Sandman in one swoop? 'Cmon.... Give me a break...
