Facebook users think to highly of themselves to send an e-mail message to anyone...

Heh. Aside from that, it is a big deal for me, as quite a big % of my business is consulting on email.

And yes, but it wasn't an original thought from divvy.

Did I miss what the big deal is? Seemed like a non-event to me. Mark needs to hang out with Steve Jobs more to learn to get the hype right.

You can't yet. It is for a 'select' few at first.

It's all deliberate cos of the movie. He was pissed at how he was portrayed, and took public speaking classes, media training etc and is now speaking as MUCH as possible in public to try and show he isn't a sad geek.

                  Not working so well.

His character in The Social Network is actually pretty cool

The real Mark Zuckerberg... is not.

"It will offer three key features: seamless messaging across a variety of conversation forms, including SMS and texting; conversation history across those various platforms; and social in-box, meaning the company can filter the in-box just to include messages from friends."

Basically since they already know all the shit you do with your friends on the site they wants access to all the stuff you do while you are not on FB too. Info collecting is their business.
