Actually my real question is this...
Why does affordable site design need a full time tales rep? Jon said he does not do the designs, and he spends a hell of a lot of time here. Why wouldn't he just sell his own product? Wouldn't that make more sense? Instead of posting crap in threads, and calling everyone a troll he could just push his own product?

I had him post in that thread it was booked out because the thread was ruined at that point and I just wanted it closed and over with...
It really was not booked out, Steve closed a total of $30 in design while he worked for me.. He had about $500 in the works, but he wasn't able to close em up..Comment

simply put; there are some things, whether they are true or completely false, that a (former) employer simply DOESN'T say! Your comment was one of them. Maybe he's not cut out to sell, maybe he's not cut out to piss against the wind, either. Both things are probably logical to him, but surely not yours to point out.
If NF would have liked to state his inability to do sales calls, he would have probably mentioned that in his starting post. Since he asked for a position as tech support, you really overstepped your boundaries there.
On a second note; If you'd do your job as a boss right, you'd take this person under your wings and teach, shape and form him to the point where he's most successful in his position and beneficial to your company. It's called employee training - most companies have it.
I'm not jumping on the bandwagon of Jon bashing here, but you gotta admit yourself that your people skills need a serious overhaul. Most of your threads/posts are a perfect demo of how business people should not behave.

I would how ever like to find someone that is motivated to generate business for a month or so and prove thereselves then handle all the clients after that because I have bigger and better things in the works..Comment

You have one hell of a persecution complex. I have a damn good idea why he wasn't making sales, and it has nothing to do with him not being cut out for them. Take a look at your portfolio, then compare it to any other designer on the board, and the answer is pretty clear. You should be the one taking the time to sell yourself regardless. I never hired anyone to "rep" for me or do "sales", I repped myself on the boards, and when I was still doing design I was often booked months in advance.
Just because Deej thinks you're a twit doesn't mean he's a hater or a bad guy... that just means he thinks you're a twit :P You take stuff wayyyy too personally, but yet you refuse to look at the reasons why people might treat you the way they do or say the things they say to you.
