Today's Video Games

What in the fuck is with all of the (PC) video games of the past year or two?!!?

You have to sign up for an account for their Rockstar social club, then sign up for Windows Live, then confirm this, download that. Steam autoloader and all this other bullshit that takes up a fucking hour to get through just to play some goddamn video game.

well the only thing these games become so addictive is that you get all your friends playing at the same time, family communicating etc.. basically the same thing as fb only in game.. kind the same thing like in adult adopt or die.. they need to sell their products..

Steam is an incredible product. Especially if you live in a remote country and don't want to wait weeks before getting new releases.

It's the added games for windows live bullshit that is useless. (and will probably be aquitted from most PC games from now on).

I miss the good ol' days when you'd have a friend over and play a console game, then once your friend leaves, proceed with playing console/computer games by yourself. I would literally rather play against video game/computer AI than 99% of people out there.

Infact while I seriously tried to get into consoles like the ps3 and xbox360, after 6 months I was still getting sore hands and getting frustrated with the awful controls. PC gaming is a godsend .. it just makes sense. Sold my consoles a year ago ... hated them.

Never liked gaming on a PC, only strategy games are good on PC, and maybe I'd play some 2D scrollers if they ever come to exist again. As far as anything else, console me plz. I love my 360, though I will say Live has been a cunt lately for the L4D2 servers. Hard to stay connected long enough to play a couple rounds of scavenge anymore..

they want to protect them self and they always get cracked, so i dont know why they do it on such hard way, maybe just because cracks are with risk of fucking viruses so people dont wont to catch that or who knows

Yeah I see you're back on, I was gonna join into a game with you, but last time I played L4D I sucked so bad from playing COD all the time, that I just got pissed and spent most of my time shooting my own teammates and screaming profanities at the children whooping my ass.

Fuck it don't worry, EVERYBODY on the server sucks these days. I haven't played in months and I still run laps around pretty much everyone on there. It's disappointing really. Finding a good game of Scavenge or Versus where both teams are good and the game is good, is next to impossible anymore. Then you have to deal with the fact that if you do happen to find yourself in a good game, that the servers are probably gonna turf you all fromt he game. Major connectivity issues lately. You'll be fine for an or two here and there, then suddenly you can't keep a game live for more than 5 minutes. You might as well walk away and try again later. It's frustrating.

The Passing & The Sacrifice DLCs are pretty sweet. Some new scavenge maps are good. Rooftop has been pretty fun so far.
