unbeliveable what content producers and brokers will say to get your business and when its time to deliver they dont or their product blows chunks!

it sometimes is astonishing - some people promise that they include 2257 docs and then they don't even have the docs? makes you wonder...

So is there just not enough good content producers to pick from which is why people have troubles like this? I kinda figured there were already too many content shooters so I kinda haven't pursued that end of the biz.

Actually I think there are plenty of good content providers.

We get a lot of DVD's a month from WWC, docs are there for every one, every possible problem is handled in hours.

As for content shooters, deal only with real photographers.

Far too many people think that owning a digital camera and paying a hooker 50 bucks to give you a blow job while you record it makes you a content provider.

I also ALWAYS hold back at least 50% of the purchase price until the dfocuments can be reviewed. If the docs are not in order, it is worth nothing to me.

glad you've had good luck with everyone you've bought from; some of the people I'm talking about are *indeed* reputable.
one of the situations appears to be resolved (although I'll know for sure when I receive a promised check) - the others, still nothing.....

Not everyone, I bet we have been bitten on the ass as much as anyone.

There are a bunch of good ones. But yes, there are a lot more scam artists around.

the 50-50 payment seems to work well for me most of the time. and in truth, if you can not handle 50/50 on a sale, you are not actually in business.
