My old roommatse had one of those, although his was yellow. Unfortunately a drunk driver crashed into it while it was parked, and it was unsalvageable.

You might try posting it on VW Bug enthusiast pages too...

I'm looking into putting it up on a couple of those boards before Ebay. It just depends on how fast my father wants to take it out of his garage. We just sold our last 2 VW convertables and this is the last 1 we'll flip before we take the capital from the others and this into new projects.

Sandy... It was bought about 2 years ago with the car welded, but no engine, no finish in the back and no interior. It's been reworked from the ground up. Unless it was beat pretty bad previously, it probably wasn't his.

Ahh who knows.. I am talking a good 20 years ago he was bulding them... It could have gotten beat the fuck up in that much time... It just brought back memories of watching him turn them out every couple months and me wanting a few of them at the time... I am sure there were a few others also building them at the time...
