Owen Wilson, i wouldnt class as an overrated actor.... hes one of those with a certain face, voice and demeanour that makes him ideal for a certain kind of character. He's also good in comedies.

Russell Crowe.... possibly.

Mel Gibson.... possibly.

Tom Hanks.... possibly.

Ben Affleck... possibly.

Denzel Washington.... perhaps.

Julia Roberts.... perhaps.

Drew Barrymore.... definitely.

See the other thread about actors last week..He is good but people put him down as 'great'. I don't think he is great but merely good..hence overrated.

He has entered a stage of 'look at me I am acting' type acting.

Anyway, I was merely predicting responses...personally I think Sean Connery is majorly overrated.

For someone to be overrated they must first be rated as being good. That automatically takes out Ben Affleck and Segal. I the male side I'd agree with Russel Crowe...i'm sure there are others.

I totally agree w/ the people that said Drew Barrymore on the female side.
