Looks very good and in my browser works perfectly, but when loaded in IE 8 scrolling down is really choppy (although there isn't much to scroll down to), so I'm guessing your script is messing with the browser.

Your site loaded w-a-y slow for me, so ordinarily I would not have waited around for it to load, plus when it did load, it was not immediately clear what the site was about, other than an e-mail phisher...

I would keep it to one fixed background photo for a fast load for everyone Maybe do a different background on each load

a friend of mine did the exact same in Canada some 3 years ago, he was also an adult webmaster. I recall it was big hassle to deal with restaurant owners etc

I think the woman with the stones on her back is a beautiful design. I also saw close-ups of sushi, pizza, chocolate and parachutes. The photographs are high resolution and very detailed. The colors are beautiful. The pop up that says, "type your email address here" looks very well designed. Everything looks professionally done. Have you ever dealt with these businesses before? Hotels, resorts, restaurants, can all be gigantic pains in the ass. Disorganized and confused a lot of the time. The entire service industry can be one big clusterfuck at times. A lot of big places you'd expect to operate flawlessly have management that amounts to a joke in reality. Now try dealing with a bunch of them, in a bunch of different cities. I can see the point he was making.
I'm not going to say it can't be a profitable endeavor. Obviously there's a lot of potential there, but I can see where a lot of people would run out of energy attempting it at the same time.
Good luck with the project though. Stick with it and hopefully things work out well!Comment
