Many of the rich and powerful in Washington DC are probably shaking in their loafers over the revelation late yesterday that a top Bush Administration official has resigned because he was identified as a client of a prostitution ring that is under indictment.
Even though he claims to have used the service only for "massages", the Deputy Secretary submitted his resignation as soon as his name surfaced in connection with the scandal.
The Madam at the center of the issue, who had run her biz in the shadows of the capitol for over 12 years, has had to resort to using a public defender since all of her assets were seized. She has hinted that she will sell her client list to help raise funds for her defense.
