Those are all huge things. I wish he'd tackle some of the smaller, easier things he promised. I was optimistic and never expected him to fix everything in one term but damn, do something everybody can rally around.

One thing about the health care bill that was good that nobody talks about is how anybody that wants insurance can now buy it. There are no such things as pre-existing conditions to keep you un-insurable. The media has done a horrible job letting people know that they don't have to wait until 2014; there is gap coverage right now for as little as $144 a month for those under 30 and it only goes up to like $350 for the oldest people.

In that example, the media is to blame. It is all doom and gloom, but the sickliest people, who need coverage the most can now have it -- if they pay for it, which is how it should be.

He's fucked up big time on DADT.

Those two issues are at the front of my mind because they are both important to me.

Tax cuts for the middle class; they're there. Not huge, but there.

Wall Street bailout started before him but he is also bailout friendly and gets half of the blame.

Contrary to all of the doom and gloom that we are spoon fed, the economy is recovering. Economists are optimistic. They don't make it on the news much, but the big convention for banks/foreclosures took place (at the Diplomat in Hollywood FL -- that always makes me lol) last week and the banks were all the happiest they've been since this mess started.

I still think Obama is a sellout though. He promised a bunch of things to a bunch of different people and Wall Street and the military industrial complex seem to benefiting the most from his presidency.

It's late, I'm tired ... so sorry if its not coherent.
