I was talking on the iphone4 earlier today and dropped it. The back glass shattered BIG TIME! It just so happens I took the case off it today to stick in the charger.
I decided to head into the Apple store to see what they suggested. At first the offered to replace the back glass for $29 or replace the phone (32gb model) for $199. I countered and then he offered to replace the phone for $99. I thought about it, but deferred to the $29 replacement option. 5 minutes later the guy returns and tells me that I will not be charged after he talked to "the guys in back"
Needless to say I am EXTREMELY happy with Apples service. It's the first time I have had a problem with any of Apples products and they really stepped up to the plate!
