                                                                                Good hair extensions are almost impossible. Some of them look okay on TV or in pics, but when you get up close, they all look like shit. I've had various friends who tried them over the last year or two, and I never saw any that I would walk out of the house with. And some of them were ridiculously expensive and done at top salons.

                                                                                Even natural long hair is a PITA, though. I cut mine half way up my back a couple of years ago and now it's waaay too long again. I don't even want to think about the amount of time I could save each week if I could muster the nerve to chop it to about shoulder blade length.
