Last week we hosted a group of affiliates at our offices in NJ and I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank them for their time and effort. We needed end user testing and feedback on our new NATS 4.1 interface, so we decided to put out an open invitation to affiliates. Applications for the event poured in and we reviewed them all in order to select a diverse group of affiliates who seemed ready and willing to offer their views, feedback, criticism, and thoughts on the NATS product line. What we ended up with far exceeded what we had hoped for.
This group of affiliates came prepared, enthusiastic, and ready to work. Every single member of the group was anxious to express their thoughts and came to the discussion with purpose. The amount and quality of input we received was completely unexpected, but genuinely appreciated. No one viewed this as a fun getaway or vacation. To this group this was clearly an opportunity to help shape the tools they and the rest of the industry use on a daily basis. We could not have anticipated the amount of ideas we received, nor can we thank you more for them. We benefited greatly, the group themselves benefited greatly, and the entire industry will benefit greatly from their work and effort.
Outside of the effort being put into the discussion everyone also spent time getting to know each other and enjoying the nights. We couldn't have asked for a better group of people to spend time with.
