    Know anyone like this? Someone who's intelligence you respect yet they seem to limit themselves so much.

    When it comes down to it, there always comes a time when one must roll up their sleeves and get to work.

    Such a waste.

          The problem is, you get "smart" enough, you learn about all the stuff that shouldn't be possible. Dumb but motivated, persistent people just try shit until it works, and often succeed. Intelligence has far fewer practical applications that you'd think.
