    Value of Our Sites

    Hi,
    Trying to find a company that can help work out the value of our business...I help run a few fetish sites, subscription based. Looking round there are many many different formulas to work with to establish value..but to be honest I would prefer someone with experience in this area to advise and assist me.
    Would be happy to pay someone for this service.

          Hi bns666, At moment I cannot say, but we have about six. The main thing is how do you work out the value..I realise the formula is based on our revenue and traffic. Ideally looking to join with an expert in this area.

              Just post the url and you will get a good idea very quick. There is no quick and easy answer all depends on the site.

                  Thanks Tiger, The main problem with that is we are merely trying to value business - we dont want to let everyone know. Ideally we hoping to find specialists in this area.

                      specialists are not mind readers LOL

                      traffic, PR, link popularity, SE saturation, name appeal (short 1-2 word and dot com), member base, etc..

                      no one can help you.. no one.. without knowing those simple things mentioned above, as those (and other issues) are what make a site valuable...

                      you can pay some goober to do an appraisal, or simple tell us the url.. either way, the most honest answer will never come from the appraisal, as people will only pay what they think it it worth...

                      at this point i almost want to charge for my feedback LOL!

                          Yes I appreciate what u are saying...and I suppose the main problem I have is the sites we looking at selling tick lots of the positive boxes you have mentioned, so on paper gives us a really attractive sell price - but as you rightly point out in the end their worth is what someone would truly pay.
