    Setting up SMS and MMS for txt/photos to Cell Phones

    How hard is it to setup an SMS server to send out txt's to phones?

    I just want to send out a FREE daily info bulletin.

      There's plenty of services you can use that charge you like .05 a message

                                              I take that back, Kannal is a WAP/SMS gateway, but what's missing is the SMS centre to relay the messages...

                                                  Naughty - I appreciate the offer, but I would like to try and sort this out for myself.

                                                  The reason is, my home landline phone network uses VoIP, provided by my ADSL/phone provider. Now my home telephone has the ability to send/receive SMS, which I can do with no problem, for free, therefore I know my ADSL connection has the ability to send/receive free SMS, which I want to be able to open up to my FreeBSD or Mac computers...

                                                      We've done the SMS/MMS stuff for years - can provide anything from website billing, a simple interface to message broadcast, etc., to MMS picture chat. Drop me a note if you'd like to know more - [email protected]
