That's how they remove door dings, hail damage etc... well the body shops process is a little, OK a million times better! They heat the surface then mist dry ice on it!

I got a small dent in the bed of the truck Im gonna try this out, whats the worst that can happen, if it doesnt work then i gotta take it to the shop anyways

That method won't work on small annoying dings... the way the body shop does it, or the hairdryer and canned air method. Maybe I just need to go to sleep...

Yeah if you have a high end car like webgurl said you shouldnt. Mechanics at body shops do this a lot on older cars. Ive seen it at places where my friends use to hang out at. imagine five guys drinking beers working on cars that is some funnny shit.
