                      First you need to know where you need the BW for. You want 99.9999% uptime, or can it be 99% or even 98% etc

                      For example, when you have a TGP and much trades, you need 99.9999% uptime.

                      Do you post moviegalleries, and burn 3000GB a month, maybe you can say, well I take the 98% uptime, and pay 5000 dollars a month less.

                      A lot of hosts are "okay" but look out for the webmasters who are selling BW now in stead of their dialers.....

Especially if those large, known companies have been there for more than a month or two...

                                                                                                                      Yeah Dave is good people. Best tech support I've ever had from a host, period. (I left him for some cheap cogent bandwidth though )


                                                                                                                      Personally I still use Flapjacks 1.0. I don't like using "new" stuff until I'm sure the bugs are all worked out. Newer isn't always better, go with what you know.

                                                                                                                                          I started interfacing all my current scripts to Flapjack around 1.0. But when 1.3.5 came around, I could target a whole new audience. Soo many new features.
                                                                                                                                          Since it's rock solid too, I didn't have to worry about the Flapjack failing when I go from beta to production release. It really cut down developing time for me.

                                                                                                                                          SetTheWorldonFire, take a look at the whitepages for Flapjack and the feature list for 1.3.5, you will be amazed.

Are they in a proper, secured hosting facility. Heating and cooling, fire supression, 24 hour security, clean power.

I have to admit that I am still a little new to this board after 6 months, but I have been at most of the shows and reading/posting here a lot and have never heard of either of those companies.
