I think it is safe to assume that the major reason the industry hasn't gotten government support is politics. During election years the candidates are always throwing around who voted for what - can you imagine the ads that would run for a representative in favor of protecting the adult industry? It would be career suicide.

Until that time, it's up to the industry to do it's best to police itself and innovate change and I applaud the forward thinking efforts of anyone and everyone that is trying to curtail this industry scourge.
Yup.. it's bad PR (feds) for them. Straight from the horse's mouth.
