Keep your balances low with Paxum, it's not a bank.
It costs us LESS than 1? to cash a check in our bank and we are EU based. We dug out the bank that charges this little. Other than checks they are good as well. If they increased the price we would get an account another bank only for check cashing purposes. The fact that you let yourself be robbed like that by the bank is your choice entirely. It's a GOOD one only if you like the robbery. Some people like the stress.
