Webair is good for shared hosting as well, yellowfiber is another option that has very good shared hosting.

Well some hosts will move it for you, but that's pretty rare when it comes to shared hosting.

The way to go would be to backup all DBs, fxp all files to the new server, restore dbs, change the config.php. For 20 sites it will take you anywhere from 1 hour to a couple of days depending on how experienced you are with moving sites.

I have a number of sites with Hostgator too. Originally setup with them to test the virtual plans and have left the sites there with no problems.

Site 1(test 3rd time):Response time 2.45 sec 11.48Kb/sec
Site 2:Response time 1.52 sec 14.74Kb/sec
Site 3:Response time 1.68 sec 18.15Kb/sec

Honestly dream host is not real solution unless you are putting a site about you cat and don't care if people see it or not. When you need a business solution you have to something better.

There are cheap hosts, over priced hosts, and hosts that charge for what you get.

Stay away from Servage. You are told 100 gigs daily and 400000 page views. What they offer is not what you get. They lie about their stats and suspend all accounts that get traffic. They most likely oversell bandwidth and will look for any reason to suspend you or kick off your domain. You prepay so they essentially hold you hostage. From terrible experience, they are a nightmare.

how much are you willing to spend?
dreamhost is good if you want to host a dinner party and what not but with 20 sites you should probably think of getting a cheaper dedicated server. It will save you a lot of headache
