I've been to the Domenican last winter. Didn't get a chance to go into the city. The beach was just too nice for me to want to go anywhere else. Miles of white sandy beaches and crystal clear warm ocean water.
Most of the areas outside the resorts were a little run down
But the wildlife was at its finest
I wanted to take this guy home with me
Nothing like smoking a nice fake Cuban after dinner
In the end, when i go away, i prefer hot tropical places where i can just kick back on the beach, take in some sun, have a few drinks and forget about everything else......

Most cubans sold outside of Cuba are "fake" Hell a lot of them are rolled in Cuba, but just not by the actual manufacturer. Cigar copies are rampant, I bought a box of cohibas the other day with the engraved hologram seal and everything, and they were good, but they're not technically "real". Not like i care, still a nice cigar.
