i just setup http://www.xratedboard.com and am going through the process of driving traffic from my blogs and freesites to the forum. I am planning on setting up a chat and webcam section to the site soon too as well as a mailing list, so i expect some decent traffic some day. i need a to get some content posted in the forums though. So I've considered this proposal.
For a limitted time only I will allow anyone who signs up to spam the shit out of any gallery they've BUILT on my forum. This could be a good way to get yourself some backlinks going. Feel free to add your blog hardlinks to your sig too. The only rule of thumb here, NO FHGs. Other than that sign up, let me know here what username you're using and i'll allow you to spam like crazy (whereas i will not allow unsolicitted spam, or gallery pluggage from outsiders at the moment).
You could even make a thread for each blog you run if you'd like in the appropriate forums, updating the thread with a link to every new gallery you build!
i've also been considering setting up a sectonon the forums where i could give a forum (i'll even throw in your own subdomain for the forum) to anyone who would like to have a forum of their own on the boards. all you have to do is show me a nice worthy site that you'd like some forum space for, and that bitch is yours. f anyone is interested in such a venture that is....
