It is a bit strange to have 8 or 9 inches of hair, maybe youre using it to hide behind as in life & not behind a pc, you could be shy? Not a problem if so.. it's just psychology.
I like very long hair on guys like Jon Bon Jovi, Alex Rose, the skid roe crew, but that more so the longer style.
I did grow my hair, however, it was only so I could have braids... I went through a patch, wearing baggy clothes & hanging about with my black friends. It wasnt to be prt of the crew, more so, it felt cool at the time

Yeah I have pretty long hair, maybe a 2 feet long or something? I get it cut once a year or so, I think I'm due atm.
I've had long hair since I was a kid, I don't know what it would be like to have it any other way. I'll eventually cut it. I just like having it to be honest, it's sort of an extension of myself I guess. I can imagine reaching up and not having a whole bunch of hair, and it doesn't sound too awesome to me.
Just be yourself. The flock will always be trying to fit in, and look at you funny when you don't.Comment

Up until a couple months ago I hadn't had a legit haircut in like 3 years. I had Fabio length hair. Got it cut short likes now though. I usually go a couple years then buzz my head. I like having lng hair, but it feels so good to cut it all off every once in a while. THe shit gets hot and heavy on your head.Comment

Oh and just to clarify, I am not curious as to why you are curious. But I can understand why some people would be curious as to why you are curious considering it is a curious kind of question. And I have heard that by-curious people are just naturally more curious and get "by" with it. This is not to imply that anyone who is curious more than once is a by-curious person, they could be just more curious than the normal curious person.
