    please don't trivialize HIV - even if an outbreak seems avoidable nowadays, taking 10-20 pills a day including all side effects ruins your life forever.

    if someone was tested positive i want to know who it was. because some actors are so screwed up in their minds that they even would show up on a shoot with a test prior to fucking patient zero and have no idea whats going on. or so desperately need money that they would shoot anyways and put everyone else at risk. and since nowadays also czech girls go to LA regularly to shoot, the risk became even bigger that it's not restricted to a certain group of people or area.

    i informed our agencies here yesterday and none of them had heard of it so far. and they have girls in LA right now. And we don't have access to AIM online, so i cant verify anything myself.

        You're gonna need to talk to your shooters I suppose if you don't shoot yourself. If you do the shooting, then you already have a producers login to AIM or TalentTesting so you can just log in. I don't think it should affect you anyway unless you are preparing to do a new scene right?

        Other than that it's just curiosity? Anyway, if it's just killing you to know then ask your shooter to find out. I'm sure that they already know. And if the quarantine list went to 20 that just means that they are being over cautious until everyone is tested and re-tested. The system is working the way it should and there's nothing scary about it.

            Every agency has male actors that have been in bisexual or gay films.

            Trying to single out one agency for having performers who have done so is not only irresponsible it is ignorant.

            There is no widespread outbreak just one isolated performer who has tested positive for HIV.

            AIM did their job by notifying anyone first, second and third generation performers within 24 hours of the incident.

            These are the only hard facts that are known at this time.

                You're info is outdated. There is a new pill that is just ONE pill a day. People with severe asthma take more medications.

                And I'm not trivializing anything. You're overblowing it because of the stigma attached to it. I wouldn't want to catch HIV. But I would DAMN sure rather have that than lung cancer, or heart disease or colon cancer, or any or the other hundreds of common diseases that are much more deadly than HIV is.

                Let's keep it in context. HIV is bad. And it's not something you want spread in the porn industry. When I first got in the business as an on camera performer...there was NO testing. Never was until a few years ago.

                Now there is and it catches the relatively few people that get it. Panicking and quoting old medication for HIV isn't going to help anything or anybody.

                You don't even shoot in the USA as far as what I've read from you on GFY. So it's really not something you should be too worried about over there from this one guy.

                And yes, I know he COULD have fucked people from Europe too. I'm just sayin'...people shouldn't overreact.

                            one girl we shot 2 weeks ago was booked to fly to LA today and now she's scarred. and she has every right to be scarred. and you are trivializing HIV - and no argument you will come up with will change my mind on this - it's a life threatening disease with no cure. period.

                            so even if I (personally) don't shoot in LA, WE (the producers over here) can be affected just the same way nowadays. I wish they would have kept Visas mandatory for Czech people.

                                        And EVERY disease is "life threatening" if not treated.
                                        My example of a person with severe asthma for instance. He will DIE...suffocate to death without daily treatment.

                                        A person with high blood pressure will DIE without daily treatment.

                                        A person with HIV will...over time...possibly develop into AIDS and DIE without daily treatment.

                                        The only differences are the stigma attached to HIV.

                                        Just between you and me...the more I think about it, the more I wouldn't want to be shooting in LA either. It's just a little too dumb there and a little too much of a cesspool.

                                        But then again...I probably fuck as many strange pieces of ass out of nightclubs in a couple of weeks as do the "talent" so I guess it's all a crapshoot in the end.

                                                        It might be true the young man is patient 0, then again it might not, it might be true you have herpes than again it might not, in either case only you and patient zero know the truth.

                                                        The only truth so far is that an individual has tested positive for HIV, Joe I ask you this if you tested positive for HIV would you want the world to know and have your personal business spread every which way? The answer (and yes I can answer this for you) is NO, cause 3 days after you find out you have a life altering disease the last thing on your mind is oh I better come out.
