About epassporte - different point of view

I attach the message posted from an other guy in here few minutes ago. I think we need some optimisme.

I think that there are people in this board that are diffusing all around panic !

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't buy the whole "they're broke" idea. Mallick obviously is/was a very rich dude. His movie was a major flop - a loss of $19million (some of which he will make back from DVD sales, etc). But there is no possible way he financed a $20million movie if $20mil was all he had (including our funds).

So, there's no question in my eyes that Mallick CAN pay it back, even if it's out of his own personal bank accounts. It's just a matter of whether this guy is a real scammer/thief or not.

When I take a step back, I think a lot of the conspiracy theories here (including some of my own) have fed on themselves and pretty much become the truth. Considering Mallick and Co are doing nothing to refute them, all we are doing is consuming ourselves with our own negative ideas and building on them every day.

So for the sake of a different perspective, let's look at some things....

    - Mallick has stated before any of this that epass and the movie have nothing to do with each other (worst case, he lied completely and physically used all of our money....honestly I don't think he would've had to do this. The guy is loaded from past businesses and the millions that epass made him)

    - Mallick has stated many times that Middle Men is just the start of his movie producing career. He has to know that ripping us off is going to kill any possibility of that...it's going to haunt him in every future business he enters (we'll make sure of that)

    - Our pending ACH/CC withdrawals are back in our wallets. Why do this if there isn't a reason? Yes, the reason could be to make it look legit before he fucks us in our assholes. And yes, it could be automated...but doubtful considering they're completely shut down.

    - On the same note, why let us look at our wallet balance at all if he plans on ripping us off? To let us get all the screenshots/proof so we can sue him? I doubt it. If this was all planned from day one (I highly doubt that), he would've shut off access to even SEE our funds

    - I'm not an expert on this, but surely when hundreds of people withdraw millions of dollars at the same time, it takes some time to do that...right? We can safely assume our money wasn't just sitting in a safe somewhere, so maybe it takes time to get it all back in one place to send the wires. There's no way Mallick anticipated ever having to deal with giving ALL of the wallet money back at the same time. Even the most honest person wouldn't anticipate that....would've been nice if he did though.

    - Epass was up front about their relationship to United Trust after we all initially started bothering Elias in mid September...they explained their relationship to them in a letter on the site. It DID make sense, but we all chose to essentially ignore it....possibly with good reason, but possibly just because we were pissed.

    - Some bigger clients who Mallick didn't want to piss off got paid early....and they got paid A LOT. This shows that they aren't broke. It shows taht they're fucking assholes, yes, but obviously not broke. It's highly doubtful that he paid a couple million to his bigger clients and then all of a sudden ran out of money to pay the next couple million to all of us.

    - He referred to all of us on facebook as "crazies" ....this obviously pissed us off because we just want our money, but what if, to him, we are crazy because he fully plans to do exactly what he has said - pay us back? It's also possible that he's delusional and out of touch with reality, yes, but let's assume he isn't for a second and then look at the "crazies" remark.

Okay, I'm out of bullet points for now. I fully realize I'm probably being naive, but considering we are all feeding on each other and adding bad news onto bad news, I thought it might be nice to look at it from a different perspective...

I agree with a lot of this (despite still having issues getting my funds).

Also, if there are legal issues...the first rule is always "shut your fucking mouth". This is always your layer's $500 per hour advice. All it would take is one public statement to have a minor error or something that looked/sounded like something it doesn't/shouldn't. For all we know, there could be a massive legal battle going on behind the scenes with lawyers on both says implementing the rules of "shut your fucking mouth" and only saying what they absolutely need to/have to.

What if epassporte is just another failed business? Nothing bad or illegal going on, just one that failed like so many before it and so many yet to come?

Just some food for thought amongst all of the tension, stress and also in some cases worst case scenarios that are made worse by our own imaginations.

Hey, I'm the one who wrote that and if you don't give me credit, expect a lawsuit!

Just kidding of course. But yeah, I just wanted to try to bring some optimism back and a different perspective....we're all assuming we've been ripped off, which may be true, but let's see what happens on or by the 18th. After that, I think we'll know for sure either way.

Yeah, the way I see it is this: Why the hell would the be wasting their time and paying people to put our failed ACH transfers back into our wallet. If the funds were gone they wouldn't bother with it. I also doubt it's being automated as far as returning our funds because they've ripped apart their backend so much.

That being said, I am curious to knwo what the 18th will bring us, maybe we'll get lucky and they'll say Try ACH again, or maybe we're fucked, or maybe they want wire ifo. Who knows. I know I will be emptying my bank account so they can't get nothing if I send them my bank info

              Chris,

We advise you not to say a word. However, feel free to allow your support representative to post freely even though he is 10,000 miles away from headquarters, doesn't know anything, and does not speak English as a first language.
