That wasn't the point. I am fully aware that we have our fair share of nuts taking out their frustrations in a very destructive way.

In fairness crockett, that "incident" was not exactly on par with all the others or the VT shootings. It was more terrorist-related and nearer to the 9/11 attack.

none of the school shootings would have happened if the teenagers who commited the shootings had been armed. it's fucked up if it's getting to the stage where kids have to arm themselves to go to school.

the argument against banning guns is that criminals get hold of guns whether they're legal or not. but these types of shooting spree's are nearly allways commited by mentally deranged legal gun owners, not gun owning criminals.

What some ppl are just trying to say....

Some ppl are just very mental unstable. When such ppl have gun(s) they would use it...When those 'not so smart' ppl can not have guns, it's harder for them to 'hurt other ppl'together with themselves...
