I am making $$$$ so i would disagree... mobile live cams, giving your customers access to live cams no matter where they are seems like commonsense ;-)

I'll start with 3D - it's a fad, a novelty for now. Most poeple don't want to see hairy balls or a zitty ass in 3D, they just don't. They do create Wazabi shells for phones that is a 3D case that goes over your phone, thus avoiding the glasses. However, this is only for mobile 3D, PC would have to be the glasses.

Okay now for mobile. Right now there are few tube sites that work on a mobile device. I believe the only one truly optimized for phone that plays clips is YouPorn. I *think* PornHub doesn't play clips, just sends to a join page.

The sites you are trying more than likely aren't 100% mobile optimized. They can be slower based on the device as well. Give an Apple and a BlackBerry user the same site and the BB user will have a slower experience, and that's because of BB's, not any site. We have special tours for most devices so users can get the full experience regardless of their phone.

Images should all be under 30k for cache reasons, vids should also be optimized to play quickly or people will just close out. Try some paysites that are 100% focused for mobile.

Regardless if you find mobile to not be appealing, a lot of others do. 3-5% of your traffic is mobile and that's only continuing to grow. Capitalize on it.

No I'm not insinuating that all porn has zitty asses. I will say though, any male/female porn has hairy balls in it. There is a difference of seeing a set of balls in a 2D movie and a set of balls coming at your head as he rams a chick from behind.

We have 3D porn, we get the viewer feedback, it's a novelty at this time.

It seems pretty hardcore to be watching porn on an iphone while on the train. I guess such customers could be very dedicated to porn and might indeed be good customers but somehow I doubt the majority would be interested. I know I would never be interested in watching porn on a phone. Honestly, would you?

Further if I go to a site and get redirected to something else it tends to piss me off. If I go to a site, I want THAT site not a different site.

Not to knock mobile but I don't see it having a very broad appeal to people with regular computers. At least not for porn.

I'm at my local pizza shop in Tucson that we are regulars at and all the workers know what I do. So I've given DVDs, passwords, etc and now they are asking for mobile, which they know we provide.

At the same pizza shop (which is in the heart of the University of Arizona) I am eating with my family and I turn around and I'm pretty sure a guy is surfing PornHub on his phone. I wait for my kids to go to the bathroom and I asked him, sure as shit, had Pornhub up on his phone showing his friends the porn. It happens more than you think.

What we've noticed is there is no longer the slowdowns that one expects, Mothers Day, Superbowl, summer, etc. I think the reason is that now their porn is mobile, they can take it with them on vacations, they can watch a movie with their spouse without having to pack up the PC.

Do I want to watch porn on a mobile phone? No, but then again, I don't watch porn on my PC.

Let's take another example - iPod Touch users are mainly 13-17 years of age, 50% of them use their iTouch as their PRIMARY form of surfing the net. Do you think that these kids will go back to using their PC when they turn 18? Heck no.

It's all in the changing technological demographic.

what you folks fail to realize is that it's those hardcore people that are dedicated to porn that are keeping us afloat. the majority has already moved on as there are better things for them to do and spend their money on on the internet than porn. and if/when 'the majority' gets the urge there's plenty of free shit out there for them to rub one out to before they lose interest again.

the people using mobile porn are probably folks who travel, who can't be caught using their computer to view porn (family computer, work computer), who are addicted to masturbating, or whatever the hell else reasoning they may have.

the people looking for 3D porn are probably the same folks who are looking for HD porn. i remember the same "hairy balls and zits" arguments being made when HD first started coming out

who gives a shit? if it weren't selling you wouldn't be seeing businesses being built off of it. if its a fad, it will fall into the background. the question is, can you/will you cash in on it or not?

Well you're definitely making me think. If technology improves I could see mobile devices becoming the primary method of general internet access. But at that point one would presume any need for a special design for the mobile market would no longer be there since the technology (and infrastructure) would presumably be able to handle regular sites with ease. But what you state about the young is a good point.... I guess we'll see.

3D porn.

Not seen many 3D mainstream movies that stand out as movies in their own right. Avatar in 2D sucked donkey bollocks as a film. OK a few kids cartoon ones were good. Getting a cartoon cat jump into my face is different from getting a hairy ass jump into my face. LOL

Shooting porn in 3D is IMO not going to work unless the shooter is a lot skilled than anyone I've seen shooting for the Adult Net. What amazes me is some can't get the product right in 2D normal Def, but think if they shoot HD or 3D it will make a difference.

Lighting properly for HD is an art some still don't get. The scene isn't back lit so everything look flat. Shooting wide screen is something some don't get. The stills are shot in "Portrait" mode and the same position is shot in "Landscape" in HD.

Some productions are shot with such a small budget it's stifling the quality. So little thought and preparation it produces conveyor belt porn. But they think going to the expense and trouble of shooting 3D will make sign ups change.

Mobile porn.

Ask David Sullivan if sex on the phone works. He will think you're an idiot for asking such a question but then he's right. Of course mobile phone porn works. Look at the size of phones today, people buy phones to surf the Net. Porn consumers will consume mobile phone porn.

Stricking a balance between what you offer a customer surfing using a PC and what you can offer on a mobile surfer (most smartphones now are 3.7" & 4.3" screens or above and tablets will take off once we get some varitiy in the market place) is a very important one as there is still a gap between what can be done on a PC and all the mobile devices.

We aimed to offer the service in a reduced form that makes using the mobile version simple, easy and in turn fast. The websites we have are massive with 1000+ chathosts during peak times, which is alot of content to squeeze into a smaller screen. One example with live cams is that we have internal mail so that customers can message their favorite chathosts and be notified when they are online. As we all know the addiction with live chat can be a single chathost so being able to carry on your "love affair" any time of day only makes it more appealing. As its a cross platform service (works on WEB and Mobile) i feel the mobile device can also contribute to $$$ made on PC when they get back to it. Its an additional part to a product/service that only extends their usage giving them freedom to enjoy anytime, any place and on any device.

Most people at work have many restrictions and sites blocked plus usually you have an IT guy keeping tabs on everyone so being able to grab you mobile or tablet is very cool as its still a very personal device. You also have guys sitting at home with a single PC for the whole family to use so surfing any 18+ sites is a no no. When was the last time you let someone look at your phone for me its the most personal device I have.

I will answer honestly as i have been in the industry since i was 18 and yes i do use my phone for porn most recent example is that i couldnt get my internet working while at a hotel and didnt want to put XXX on my room bill so with my free hand i grabbed the mobile
