    be honest, before this racial stuff happened, who liked imus?

    i dont get his program here in canada, but i enjoyed a few clips i saw of him making fun of tucker carlson and the old white house press secretary.

    sucks he had to ruin it all.

                          I liked him. He is the only one who wouldn't kiss the ass of politicians or media members. He'd tear into everyone he had on his shows for being dumbasses.

                                  i'm black. i like imus. imus fucks with everyone. i don't think imus is prejudice, or racist. just my opinion.

                                  what kills me is when people that get mad when they get offended by racial prejudice. don't get mad when you see or hear it. it does exist, so you should be mad ALL THE TIME. do you actually believe that when the imus incident dies down that is the end of racial prejudice, everywhere... no more need to be mad. YEAH, RIGHT

                                      I think the entire issue centers around the forum Imus was in.
                                      He was broadcast by the "mainstream" censoring media so he actually violated their unwritten code of speach. If he was only on HBO he would not have been sacked or even complained about IMO.

                                      "Public"(as in free) broadcast are held to a differrent standard.
