It pains me to see you not wanting to give it up for adoption.
I'm 23... successful... and my husband can't give me a baby.
I work my ASS off so that I can make enough money and have a steady foundation to be able to apply for an adoption in 2-3 years....
And if an accident happened tomorrow... I'd continue to work my ass off to pay for it... and I'd think the holy jeebus for it... down on my goddamn knees thanking the lil 7 lb baby jesus wrapped in swandling clothing,, heehee...
If it was just some random one night stand... I could understand you aborting... out of stupidity...

I personally have been in the room when one of my ex-girlfriends had an abortion. It was a very emotional experience, leaving a lasting impact on my mind and soul. But still to this day, I still have to say that it is ultimately the decision of the woman to decide.

The day a man puts his body through 9-10 months of pregnancy and has a baby , (to my beliefs)only then may they question why a woman makes a choice to carry a pregnancy all the way through or not.

You are relevant in as much as you represent an opinion which is obviously not the popular one here. I don't think that anyone here, especially men have the right to tell a woman what she can and can't do with her body. That said, I do think that she asked for your (and everyone else’s) opinion, so keep going if you desire.
Just as you have the right to carry a gun, she has the legal right to abort her baby if she chooses. Splum, you have argued in for the destruction of life (war) and now the preservation of life (against abortion). To me these two points of view seem to be at odds with one and other. So my question to you is this, would you support the abortion of Osama Bin Laddens child if you found out that the mom wanted to terminate her pregnancy? (You must assume here that the mom in question is a nice lady who you have nothing against, someone you would be friends with, and most importantly that she is a nice law abiding US citizen from birth)

None of you have obviously gone through losing a CHILD who was just over 20 weeks gestation. Yes, my twin boys were born at just over 20 weeks. Yes they were alive for several days and if it wasn't for some other complications they could have lived -- many others do. I talked, they responded by reaching out and grabbing my fingers just as they did during the ultrasounds WEEKS before.
The Drs wanted to abort the babies due to complications (Twin to Twin Transfusion syndrome). They said there was no chance to be born alive, etc. They were wrong. They were born alive and lived several days, not hours, and died due to complications NOT associated with their gestational age.
I dont' care what any of you say, I KNOW the child is living inside of you. Kittylix, you are only a few weeks away from where my children were. What you do with your body is your choice, but please think everything through.
If you were raped or had an unexpected pregnancy, alright. Get the abortion done as soon as you find out. But you are saying this was a wanted pregnancy and you want out because your BF left you. Thats rediculous. I know of several adult webmasters who have adopted, I know a few more who have wanted to adopt but couldn't find a newborn child. I know of 4 families locally here in Tampa who are on a waiting list to adopt a newborn. In many cases you can have all of your medical paid for if you choose adoption.

Well you certainly went off on a tangent but just to amuse you since somehow you NEED my response.
You keep acting like the world is "one" when clearly it is not. Ultimately I only care about only the people in my tribe, aka "United States".
That being said, innocent children, women and men in other countries who are killed by United States military action(99.9% of it unintended collateral damage) is sad, but if it means with those actions an American life is potentially saved it is necessary.
The question about Mrs Bin Laden is just absurd, anyone can say in hindsight to abort as evil a person as Osama as a baby. You cannot predict what a newborn will become in life so that question is just fucking stupid. That being said abortions in other countries are not my concern. Abortions in the United States ARE my concern.Comment

I don't particularly like Abortion but under certain circumstances then I know some people have to do it.
I think you're brave to ask for peoples opinion on it and it really can't be easy raising a Special Needs child already. Whatever you do, I'm sure you'll make the best decision for you and the unborn child. I would never judge anyone in your position.Comment
