I do have an idea about what Lars might be going through though... when we first hooked with CE back in the day there were tons of people who hated us and would not talk to us because of some brouhaha with CEN that had absolutely nothing to do with us.
For what it is worth, AFF did take everything down as soon as we asked. We are taking action on this. We are going after the roots though and here AFF did the right thing as far as we are concerned.
To anyone getting ripped off though in this same way, talk to an attorney because this is the kind of thing that makes them salivate and think about things like working on contingency...

Yep - I have zero problem with Lars personally. Business is business. Ethics are ethics and and the only similarity really is that both are immutable and how one conducts themselves to either is a matter of choice. I do not have a clue about what choices Lars has made and I am not going to criticize him for something I really know nothing about.
We will see what the FTC does about stuff like zango and Bit Torrent but in the mean time even if I have an ethical issue with software from companies like 180 solutions and stealing with peer to peer I cannot say that anyone else should define their judgement by the same terms until a legal precedent is set and we can all clearly see this is or is not against the law.
I think will76 has made it a crusade against Lars which has only hurt his efforts to draw attention to the very real problem of traffic hijacking and content theives using Bit Torrent.
As I said before, we asked AFF to deal with the problem affiliate and they did so very promptly.
