          hard to say. $5k isnt enough to roll out your own paysite, so I would probably go the route of starting a series of blog/free sites to promote different sponsors, as well grow the traffic organically and offer advertising on the site.

          mainstream is a little more difficult imo to make money back faster, but it can be done.

          personally, what i would do is work up my free/blog sites and grow the traffic to push sponsors hard, then take that money earned and repeat
