Have You Ever Hit A Hole-In-One?
Next to a Double Eagle it's the toughest shot in Golf. Last year on the PGA Tour there were over 100 hole in one's and only 7 Double Eagles.

I hit one on a par 3 over a tiny pond.
I looked at my wife and asked "where'd my fucking ball go?"
The people playing behind us started to clap and laugh, and then when I finally walked up to the pin and saw the ball in there I was in shock, cuz I suck at golf. And felt bad I didn't even see it roll in. *shrug*Your post count means nothing.Comment

Funny to see this thread...
I was playing golf yesterday and the 8th hole is a nice Par 3. I got a 3 on it coz I mishit my tee shot and landed in the bunker. Did well to get out in 1 and in the hole for a par on it.
As we were waiting at the next tee (it was busy) the person playing behind us hit his tee shot and its the closest I've ever saw someone come to a hole in one on a course. His ball rolled what must have been 2 inches passed the hole. It was really unlucky for him, I don't think he realised how close he came coz he just put his club in the bag and walked down to the green LOLComment

Missed last years $50.000 hole in one by Silvercash at the GigaCash tournament in Phoenix by less than an inch, rolled by hole with less than a foot. That sucked.

1, par 3.... was luck....but, the next time i played that same hole i landed it within 2 inches from the cup.
the very next hole....hole 5...I took my mother with me on my birthday for HER first time golfing ever.... 5th green...shes on the apron about 12 feet id say give or take from the cup.... i show her with her pitcher....this is how you chip mom...just showing her the motion, maybe with an example ball...."just a slight chip up ma and mind the curve of the green"
she says ok move.....Chips the bitch in....two hops and a lil roll and the fucker sunk....
even weirder, yet the next time agfain that I went...I was telling my friend how mom chipped it in on her first try, standing nearly in the same spot she was on the apron.... but this time the hole was moved, slightly farther.... I fuckin chipped it in just like she did....

watched it done back to back a few years ago. Guy I was playing with hit a hole in one on a short par three. I bet him all the money in my pocket he couldn't do it again. He plopped down another ball and sure as shit he hit another one in.
