    Anyone ever flown from LAX to POP?

                  BadDog Never flown from Lax but I fly from Atlanta on a regular basis. I normaly fly Delta, and I know Spirit, and and Jet blue fly to Santiago, not sure if they go to Puerto Plata I mean. Make sure delta hasn't stopped there flights there tho. I know that the ride from Santiago Airport to Puerto plata is about an hour drive.

                  As for the place itself. I personally love it there, but then again I love going to that island a lot. I'm going next month and it will be my third trip there this year.

                          For POP I use American Airlines, there are a few other airlines though and make sure you watch out for hidden fees.

                              I want to know the best airlines to use from LAX, I thought that was obvious.

                                          You mean it is worse than ATL? That is pretty bad. Besides, I really hate Delta, US Air is the only worse one.

                                                  Not sure what that is, although the guy I spoke to about reservations and the airport told me I do have to pay a $10 entrance fee at the airport as a "thank you for letting me into your country" type of deal.
