I notice now that when I place my cursor on the green rep button of "certain" users, I get a little popup which says:

"XXXXXX has blown at least one person."

I suspect that this may mean that the user in question has left negative rep for others, whereas when I place my cursor on MY little red button, I get a message that says:

"Sally Rand a little debauchery is good for the soul."

I also notice that the ilttle gren dots of some users will light up with:

"XXXXX is a solid group hugger."

Seems this rep thing is indeed a double-edged sword!

That's probably a default rep, or a low positive rep value.

Confirmed that you gain or lose more based on the rep of the other person. So, that gives the spammy post whores even more weight.
