Far be it from CC to just come right and say that 21-year-old Tiffany Hartley found herself in a boring or abusive marriage and that in order to get out of that marriage, she concocted a plan to take her husband out to sea and put a bullet in the back of his head.

The young Mrs. Hartley could be a cold and calculating woman right, evil to the core. It?s not like those kind of women don?t exist on this planet.

It?s more than just a little possible that she could have shot her husband in the back of the head while they were jet-skiing on a popular lake that straddles the Texan and Mexican border, and to cover her tracks, she come out with a damn good story. Much like the one she?s telling now.

It?s also possible that her husband?s life insurance policy is worth more than any divorce settlement she would receive.

According to Mrs. Hartley, she and her 30-year-old husband David were jet-skiing on Falcon Reservoir, when armed pirates opened fire on them; a bullet striking her husband in the back of the head.

When her husband fell into the water, she says she tried to pull him onto her jet-ski, while bullets were whizzing over her head.

What a brave woman and she was obviously luckier than her husband was too, what with pirates shooting at her as they closed in on her idling jet-ski.

Unable to pull her husband onto her jet-ski (he?s twice the size of her), and after seeing the bullet wound in the back of his head, Mrs. Hartley decided that the only way she was going to survive was to abandon her husband and flee on her jet ski. Good f**king call for a woman whose husband had just been shot in the head by pirates, don?t you think?

Glad to hear she was calm enough to make such a rational decision. Good on her.

?It?s a miracle I?m even here,? she said during a telephone interview with the Denver Post. It must have been extremely difficult for her to tell such a heartbreaking and terrifying story so soon after her husband?s death. Her husband was shot and killed by these so-called pirates the day before yesterday by the way.

A fisherman claims he saw Mrs. Hartley racing back to the U.S. border and that a boat was following her into U.S. waters. Nothing has been said, not yet anyway, that he heard gunfire coming from the boat that he saw following her.

Authorities have searched for Mr. Hartley?s body, but unfortunately they aren?t allowed to enter Mexican waters, and get this; local police efforts have been hampered because somebody removed the motor from their boat.

Don?t sweat it officers, sharks probably made a meal out of Mr. Hartley by now, circling his corpse the moment they picked up the sent of his blood and moving into to devour him only after Mrs. Hartley fled the scene. That?s what CC is thinking happened to the body, but then again, the pirates might have taken the body too.

This could very well be one of those oh so elusive perfect murders we rarely hear about.
