Would be easier to get his mini blogs ranking well with the keywords in the subdomain and the posts on them all revolving around that keyword than single posts on the core domain.Ok that's fair enough. It allows Mike to carry on doing what he's doing as you say.
I was just thinking along the lines of a main niche domain, with micro niche specific posts, riding high in the SEs for a load of different keywords pointing in from his micro niche sub domains.Comment

Why when you can have 50 - 10 post mini blogs where each one revolves around some particular keyword phrase and each of those mini blogs can be listed in a directory?Comment

You can do some think even better domain.com/keyword would be keyword.domain.com

You have reached the point that by not having your own domains and hosting you are harming your growth. I suck at scripts too but wordpress is easy to install. Plus, most hosts now have one click install for it so you don't even have to install it yourself anyway. Somebody like certified hosting is under $20 a month with unlimited domains. All you need is to earn one extra sale a month and it has paid for itself.
It is interesting that you post this at the same time as there is another thread about Porncity closing. My first sites were on the Porncity free hosting. I dragged my feet for ages on getting my own domains (back when they were $70 for two years) and hosting. Then one morning I woke up and found something had gone wrong with their hosting and my sites were gone. They weren't my domains so I had no rights to complain.
You are working hard and doing pretty good for it but you are building your empire on sand. All you need is a strong wave and all your work is gone.
You could always try a hybrid approach as you learn. Buy a couple domains each in a niche and make them your core blogs for those niches. Put all your best posts and keyword stroking there. Then, build your freehosted blogs to push traffic to your core blogs. Get that traffic to your domains where you control all the adspace.Comment

That is pretty good advice from Sarah.

Anytime Twan's sites go down, I think of you first, since I know how it has hurt you when they have had db issues or whatever.
Namecheap has 5.99 domains this coming tuesday, buy you a few domains and throw them on a cheap shared account and follow Sarah's advice. Or just buy 2 a week or whatever. You don't have to buy 100 at a crack.
I like to find domains at Brujah's site http://exxxpired.com. Pick out a couple decent ones and go for it.

Think you started off right, I always suggest running free hosted sites to learn from and when you know your skills work. It's time to step up and start running your own sites.
I started with free hosts and started off making about $50 per week with about 10-20 of the excact same sites you are doing.
After I could see this was working I bought some domains and got hosting. I still use that hosting account today for my start off blogs.
You are going to stuck if you don't move to the next levelComment

Are you using free hosted thumbs/images from sponsors? What software are you using to post to your blogs?Comment

I'd be careful submitting anything other than blogs hosted on the free host owned by the same owner as the submitter. One owner of some of the submitters on that list is notorious for not listing sites and not sending out refusual emails leaving you to check the listings yourself. I bet he's had loads of free one way links that way.Free traffic and backlinks from one of the fastest growing adult pinsites on the net - SAUCY PICTURES!

I've seen TLD listed, but I'd assume subdomains aren't as easily listed. I mean it's his directories with PR and traffic, so why not send it to his own hosted service?I'd be careful submitting anything other than blogs hosted on the free host owned by the same owner as the submitter. A couple of people are giving the advice to use freehost splogs to link to your main (domain) site. I'm doing that myself to some extent but surely sending 50 subdomain sensualwriter.com links to your main blog would be worthless in terms of SEO, or even harmful (all the same ip address)?
Also I've looked at 4 or 5 of his blogs at random and each of them has only 2 posts from 2009, and most of the sponsors are general cam and dating unrelated to the niche of your blog. Also, I can't find any of those blogs on Google. Even your blog 'europeanlesbianteens.sensualwriter.com' for the uncompetitive search term 'European Lesbian Teens'. And all your backward links are from the same set of directories.
If you are getting 7,000 search hits for those blogs then you have the midas touch. If you are earning $3000 a month from them, then if you get your act together you are going to be a millionaire within a couple of years.
I wish I knew your secret because I'm missing something completely here. I have a webcam site that gets 2,000 relevant keyword search hits daily and I'm pleased to get more than 2 signups a day from it. How you can have such conversion ratios from free hosted blogs such as asian bjs that don't even appear to rank in Google I have no idea.
BTW, I'm not saying you're not earning what you say, but I do think it can't all be coming from that list of blogs (unless one of them has hit the jackpot and is topranked for a key search term).Comment
