yeah, 'Dam is great. but it's sort of a bubble. i'm burnt out on the rest of western Europe (it's really changed in the past 10 years), i really doubt i'll ever go back again, except directly to the Netherlands.
to answer the question, i won't leave Canada until i am too old to snowboard. British Columbia is just too good. of everywhere i've traveled, my 2nd pick would be to move to s.e. asia. in particular, Laos. Vientiane is a place i could actually live. cheap like borscht, ultra friendly people, great food, heavy french influence (from buildings to food to wine). tons of ex-pats as well.
