    Red Zinfandel Wine

I'm not much of a wine lover, although I wish I was!

So yesterday at the restaurant, we order 2005 Red Zinfandel

I loved this wine so much that I had to have a 2nd and 3rd glass.

If I liked this wine, what other wine would I also enjoy?

I seem to like smooth fruity wine much more than dry wine.

Say the wine I enjoyed was a 2005, if I buy the same wine in a 2002, would I like the taste better?

I am finding that that 2004-2005 are the best right now.

No promises, the weather, water, care, ect all would of been different that year.

Try a Primitivo from Italy; it's the same grape (genetically), and usually a better value.

Zinfandels are too sweet for me personally... I love dry wines.

Wines are like women.... another great collection or bottle is just around the corner. I thought I didn't like Chards until i tried un-oaked chards... love that.

Shiraz from Australia... can't go wrong. Whites (gewurztraminer, rieslings) from germany, pinot blanc from new zealand, pinot grigio/gris from washington/oregon, cabernet from napa... try everything you can find.. that's the best part of wines.. something new all the time

                                I'd have to suggest a 2003 Rioja.
