But it's not always the people who have done something that are targetted.

Think it's much more likely to be a random person who would never consider downloading porn that kills themselves.

I remember back in the early days when a mother would call our customer service not knowing what a charge on her CC was......

Mother: "Oh, it must have been my son that used my CC, thats no problem, what website did he sign up for"?

CS Agent: "um, well.....it was Men-on-Men-Assplay.com"

Mother: NOOOO! (followed by crying and screming , then hanging up)

Im sure there were some serious family "talks" after those CS calls. Not the best way to find out your little boy is into weird shit.

Tube sites and torrent sites have been stealing porn for years now - and nobody goes after them.
The small end-users however are VERY vulnerable.

I'm talking about "Murder/Suicide" as in they kill the content producer listed in the lawsuit then themselves. Surfers/Downloaders know about 2257 addresses.

im sure theres plenty of people downloading stolen content where no one will have to target people who didn't do anything.

Why don't you try reading my post again. See I said "scammers"? That means I am talking about people who will copycat the idea of these money making law suits and target random people. a certain percentage of whom will settle even though innocent to avoid being outed.....
