I think when I am done school I will probably have a couple of kids though. Which will most likely be when I am 50!

Hold on to your mouse, once they hit 13-14, things get interesting. When they turn 22 you can get to know them again.
Best of luck to you - keep the connection to them at all costs. Kids are precious! I'm sure you will love them no matter what. They need your attention even though they will say they don't.Comment

my little princess recently turned 15. i've raised her alone and i've almost got her growed.
we've used the same computer for years and she knows what i do for a living. she doesn't accidentally find my stuff because i store it in my own folders and she respects my privacy as i do hers. i keep the computer in the front of the house and from the beginning i've always monitored her surfing. she knows all about how to preserve her privacy and safety on the net and i usually do my work at night or while she's in school.
i suppose if i had a boy child i would be worried about him trying to get into my dirty picture files. but then again, i've raised my daughter to understand that sex is healthy and the sickness comes from the repression and fear of it. she's more happy looking for obscure anime clips and writing fanfics on message boards than she would be spending hours in some dumb old AOL chatroom trading curses with a bunch of slobbering teenagers.
the only conflict we have with the computer is over who gets to use it which i recently solved by finally buying a laptop. now she can fill the hard drive and multitudinous CDs with images of Escaflowne and little clips from Rayearth.
