Why do MAINSTREAM sponsers suck compared to the majority of ADULT sponsers?

    Why do MAINSTREAM sponsers suck compared to the majority of ADULT sponsers?

    Im looking at a certain product and searching through sponsers and I signup and its unbelivable the amount of crap in the affiliate area.

    Some simply give me a link to their homepage (LOL) and say get on with it, what are you waiting for.

    A couple have asked me to pay to become a member of their program, which i understand in a way, but thats not the smartest option to get noobs like myself.

    One company gave me one picture of each product, yet most of the pictures didnt show up and were a red x

    Most dont even use cookies. its unbelievable.

    Is this something to do with competition or what? does there need to be more mainstream programs so people will start bucking up their ideas or what?!


    P.s. Im looking for a GOOD cellphone sponser, so post them here if you got them!!!!!!!!!!!!

              its only about 10 bucks, and u get it refunded when you get your first sale. but what happens if the affiliate area is totally shit inside.

              i signup to about 5 adult sponsers and will only send traffic to one on average. if I had to pay 10 bucks each time i would be pissed off.

              oh well rant over.

                          Amazing, I had done research more on ringtones a year or two ago and just checked the programs again... almost all are gone now! Only two still functioning:

                                                      I've noticed that also - and to try and get xml feeds out of them is a pain in the ass.
                                                      I reckon that they're so full of affiliates who know jack shit and pushing crap traffic that they couldn't care less.

                                                      Other theory is of course that they have smaller profit margins to spend on affiliate marketing...

                                                      shareasale is pretty quick on the ball to start looking...

                                                              I just talked on a panel at a mainstream web convention where I pointed out that one of the reasons smut does so much better faster on the web is the affiliate model and I could tell that this was really news to the people in the audience. Seems kind of amazing.

                                                                  lol...you are REALLY not looking in the right places...the reason why they don't care as much? cause they sell FAR better than adult these days and don't HAVE to care

                                                                  I have one insurance sponsor that is paying me per click almost $1.50 right now...I have a tshirt sponsors I am making $15 per shirt with right now..hell, there is one candy sponsor I am making bank with right now....so much easier to make money with, but it took months of research and testing to find out those sponsors and get the promotions right

                                                                      Right. Just have a look at the amazon program, so much is broken and stats are shit, but they got legions of affiliates and give a fuck.
