The Sky bar in LA?

OK..I am flying into LA tomorrow and spending the night at The Mondrian.

I have been told by the reservationist ( is that a word?) that i get into the Sky Bar automatically. Is this some great honor being bestowed upon me?

Or should I just go to The Whiskey?

I know for sure I am going to The Viper Room to see Metal Shop on Monday...but what should I be doing on Fri nite?

Any input is appreciated.

Elvis ,

I was in LA a few years ago and the SKYBAR had the hottest typical LA chicks with big boobs and so on. Where like a sportjacket its a exclusive place.

kind of, the sky bar is jumpin, and sometimes theres a hellascious line for people not VIP or staying at the hotel.... snag one of their 4 inch thick notepads from the room!! i have had mine over a year and it still has plenty of paper left, hahahaha!

I had dinner at The Mondrian two weeks ago and the entire Lakers Team, with the exception of Koby & Shaq, sat right next to us. There is a back door to the Sky Bar which is accessible from the patio .. my suggestion is to at least have a drink or two .. you'll love it ... the women are fucking hot ..

You can find every type of woman at the Sky Bar. Considering every musician, actor, and sports star hangs out there from time to time, all the groupies and chic "I'm not a groupie, I just like to be where the action is" chicks are always hanging around.

If that scene isn't for you, which is understandable, you should still take advantage of your privilages and start your night there. Invite a freind at around 9pm and figure out where you are going while you have your first (or 3rd) drink there.

You'll at least look like the man in front of your freinds or business associates for a minute and thats all the Sky Bar is really about anyway!

I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

being married...the whole woman aspect of the bar isn't that important...though some eye candy is never a bad thing.

I figure i will have a few drinks there and find a place where a tattoo'd freak will feel comfortable.

There is a new Whiskey Sky Bar in Vegas.. new casino called the Green Valley Ranch or something.. supposed to be pretty sweet..

I will let you know if they let me in with no boobs and no sportsjacket.

Im gonna check it out next week..
