We solved the security issue as far as kids, by getting a second computer which is password protected, and we do most of the work while they are in school or in bed.The afformentioned are at home.We have 3 other machines which are off premises and we dont have to worry about prying eyes.There we can work at will.

I have 4 kids - 18 and 4 yr old girls and 13 and 8 yr old boys.
We did the same thing. NO ONE is allowed to touch mine or my husbands computers at all........ they have their own computer and the baby uses my laptop alot because I have no porn on it.
As far as their seeing it? I do ALL my text, html, and such kind of work when they are up running around and anything that relates to the pics very early before they get up or late at night after they are in the bed.
It's easy if you manage the time well.

I've brought 3 l'il demons into the world - 7, 5 and 18 months
I work on the picture stuff while they are in school and late at night....
my two oldest kids have computer priviledges...I'm not as concerned about them finding adult material because I'm always in the room when they're on the computer and if they were to run into something, I'm there to discuss it with them, but they mainly stick to sites like Cartoon Network, MSN's GameZone and Nickolodeon.com...I do this little trick I like to call "parenting"...when they get older, I'd be shocked if my sons weren't looking for a couple dirty pictures (no different then when I was a kid and rummaging through the house in search of my father's stash (although, my dad wasn't the typical Playboy subscriber, he got magazines like Nugget)).
When they become teenagers, I'd rather they see a few boobs then surf bombmaking sites.....Comment
