The only way i can explain that is that you have completely shitty traffic. Me if i dont make a sale after 40 uniques im starting to worry...
In my "best" week i had 1:16 conversion ratio , and 1:158 the worst.

This mirrors my experience. I do very well with dating but Cams doesn't seem to be working too well on my tubes.

I'd be happy with $10 / 1,000 uniques but no Cam sponsor seems to do this with my traffic. Below $10 / 1,000 uniques ($0.01 / Unq) I feel that I'm only wasting space so I end up pulling them. I'm not going to put up with sending 10,000 - 15,000 uniques to someone without getting a single paid sale. Convert or hit the bricks.

ChatGF.com pay $75 to $200 per signup, monthly - to wire, payoneer, paxum, webmoney (no ach no cheques). Affiliate program is invite only and custom, no signup link, guys with much nice traffic can ask an account to info [at] chatgf email or icq 279222391 (Fabio) and try. In member areas I see we convert from 1:30 to 1:500, in tgp and blogs seems more an 1:2000 to 1:infinite, it very depends. Note we are niche: no mature, no extreme fetish, no boy+girl, no gay, is just young gf's niche.

At least you are honest about that. I recently experimented with a site targeting cam traffic as opposed to trying to send them from a porn tube or blog as I have in the past. I haven't been very satisfied with results on that either. I can get people to signup for free memberships and have an extremely high CTR yet according to the cam sponsors stats no one is actually paying. I refuse to do more with it until I find a cam sponsor who can convert that traffic better than 1:2000. If I say send 200 free signups without any misleading text or incentive from 2,000 hits I'm thinking I should have a paid sale on average, right? I also realize that with those 200 free members they can also market to them using email and upsell other products to them for which I get nothing. I can't tell you how much that bothers me. It smells fishy to me but maybe you can enlighten me?

I'd be willing to do a lot to promote cams and am able to send highly interested traffic (1:10 unique to free) but I expect to make a reasonable return from it. Until that starts happening and I find such a cam sponsor I won't work with it. Especially not when it means sending email leads for free where the sponsor can do their own marketing without any compensation to me. Do you think you have anything which might interest me?

Well I said we convert 1:2000 to 1:infinite for tgp and blogs - result? Several big sites asked us an account in past 3 days. This should give an idea what's the real conversion ratio of other cam sites?
Or could be they never heard of us - the biggest cam sites are quite known and maybe everyone already made an account there, for example livejasmin and streamate they're everywhere I hardly can imagine anyone in the world who did not seen a jasmin popup at least 20 times? The new small site factor may help the signup, at least until the site is still new (or seems so), just make sure the site have enough girls online - empty is not ok.

Half funny note: As math geek I figure now... the average of above 1:2000 to 1:infinite (the media someone would expect) would be 1 signup every half infinite... so no signups... because if you take a range from 2000 to infinite and go in middle, is like to travel half universe! (infinite-2000)/2 = infinite = never.
Wo let's say to 1:undefined, the unknown amount of more uniques that would have been required to get the first signup, to those accounts who are 0 signup after X landings, who knows, is undefined - as it is normal to give up an advertising stream if not converts at all, but you wonder, when I had coverted? at 20,000? 50,000? undefined.

Of course with rev share the thing is different, a single signup can bring $50,000 across years of account life, but it happens 1 time every so many signups, so if you can generate only a few normal signups a month, is as rare as win a lottery that one of these signups is a whale who spend a fortune in cams. This is why cams who pay in pps, give more per signup if doing more signups a month, as there's more probability of whales who will spend big if you do many signups a month, making revshare more worth than per signup. Let's assume there's 1 half whale guy every 50 signups and 1 ridiculously full whale guy every 100 signups, you will have to consider them statistically so raise the per signup at those milestones, or revshare would 99% probably do better to make 50-100 etc' signups.

About those who say "revshare or nothing" - you may consider there's always the cam girl who tell the whale: hey pay me paypal or western union and let's do skype or yahoo cam shows next time. This cuts revenue of affiliate+cam site in rev share scenario, instead in pps scenario the affiliate got the $$ and loss is all on cam side. So rev share looks best but in reality pps can be more effective due to cam-specific situation... member sites payments can not be hijacked by the models in photos... but cam model chats the guy and can hijack his $$ out of site, also ask him re-signup with her affiliate link or weird things like that.
